Peanut Butter Granola Bars

2 cups of granola of your choice
1/2 cup crunchy Hi-PRO peanut butter
1/2 cup honey

50g dark chocolate (optional)


  1. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, over a medium heat, stir together the peanut butter and honey until combined and smooth. Do not let the mixture boil.
  3. Add the 2 cups of granola and mix until all the cereal is coated and the mixture is sticking together.
  4. Pour the mixture down onto the baking paper and press until smooth and flat. As the mixture cools it will become harder to mould so act quickly.
  5. At this point you might wish to decorate the mixture with the chocolate. For this melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave, taking care not to burn the chocolate, and drizzle over the using a spoon.
  6. Transfer to the fridge to allow the mixture set hard. This should take about 15 minutes.
  7. Once cool, cut the mixture into bars and enjoy.
