
Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Ingredients:
2 cups of granola of your choice
1/2 cup crunchy Hi-PRO peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
50g dark chocolate (optional)
Method:
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, over a medium heat, stir together the peanut butter and honey until combined and smooth. Do not let the mixture boil.
- Add the 2 cups of granola and mix until all the cereal is coated and the mixture is sticking together.
- Pour the mixture down onto the baking paper and press until smooth and flat. As the mixture cools it will become harder to mould so act quickly.
- At this point you might wish to decorate the mixture with the chocolate. For this melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave, taking care not to burn the chocolate, and drizzle over the using a spoon.
- Transfer to the fridge to allow the mixture set hard. This should take about 15 minutes.
- Once cool, cut the mixture into bars and enjoy.
